The New Midlife Wellness Trend is … Beans? GLORIA Media interview

I sat down and spoke with Jill from the GLORIA about the real "queen bean" - yes it's beans. Beans are just part of the bigger picture when it comes to navigating girls and women's hormone health.

As a women's health registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN), I always like to emphasize that waiting until you are an older woman to start implementing a hormone-healthy diet and lifestyle is like waiting for a bone fracture to occur before consuming foods and engaging in physical activity to improve bone health. Sis, don't be reactive, be proactive, especially when it comes to your health!

To all my mothers, daughters, nieces, and aunts, if you are not already eating beans, the current recommendation based on the latest research is to consume about 1 cup per day, as tolerated.

If you are looking for individualized, targeted care for hormone and whole body health book an introductory call to discuss your health goals, learn about our programs, services and more!
